About the Role
We are recruiting Ticket Inspectors, whose main responsibility is to check and validate tickets, provide support and information to passengers, and contribute to the quality, safety and efficiency of the rail service.
Main Responsibilities
- To check, validate and monitor tickets on trains or at the entrances to passenger boarding/alighting platforms;
- To assist and provide information to passengers, in person and/or via the company systems and channels;
- Perform, where necessary, support duties for the train driver, including assisting with brake tests, in accordance with current regulations;
- Carry out the safety duties necessary for rail operations, within the scope of their responsibilities, namely those relating to the accompanying agent and the completion of the service, and in the event of an accident or incident.
Working Hours
Shift-based working pattern, characterised by irregular hours, including day and/or night shifts, work at weekends and on public holidays, with rotating rest periods.
Mandatory Requirements
- Educational qualifications equivalent to the 12th year of schooling or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
Skills
- Professional experience in commercial activities, customer service or the security of people and property (preferred);
- Knowledge of Spanish and/or French (preferred);
- Proficiency in using computer systems and technological equipment (preferred);
- Good observational skills and attention to detail;
- Initiative and decision-making ability;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Team spirit;
- Strong customer focus;

Selection Process
- Candidates will undergo a psychological assessment, an English language test, an interview and a medical examination;
- Entry into the professional category of Ticket Inspector and Sales Assistant requires attendance at a specific training course lasting approximately five months and passing the relevant final assessment exam.
