About the Role
We are seeking Senior Technicians to join the Maintenance and Engineering Department, with responsibility for ensuring the configuration, development and reliability of the SAP PM module that supports the planning and control of rolling stock maintenance, guaranteeing data integrity, user support and the operational continuity of critical maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain and develop the SAP PM module, ensuring its data model aligns with CP’s maintenance and organisational model;
- Manage the technical inventory, organisational structures, maintenance cycles and plans for rolling stock and its equipment;
- Define and implement the data collection and processing model for maintenance activities;
- Define and control access profiles and authorisations in SAP PM;
- Specify, test and monitor system developments and functional improvements, in conjunction with the Information Technology Department;
- Define procedures, methodologies and consistency rules to ensure the integrity, reliability and consistency of maintenance activity data, improving the organisation’s efficiency and effectiveness;
- Analyse and resolve functional anomalies and data inconsistencies, ensuring the integrity of the information;
- Support, train and assist users, producing documentation and promoting best practices;
- Collaborate on projects, upgrades and audits related to SAP PM governance.
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
Preferred Requirements
- Good knowledge of SAP, preferably the SAP PM module;
- Good knowledge of Office tools;
- Knowledge of databases.
Skills
- Knowledge of industrial/railway maintenance and RCM concepts;
- Ability to prepare technical and procedural documentation for maintenance and repair activities;
- Ability to critically analyse, synthesise and solve complex problems;
- High level of rigour, organisation and attention to detail;
- Proactivity, autonomy and a sense of responsibility;
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills;
