Goods and donations collected to support Leiria

CP has completed a solidarity initiative marked by the strong mobilisation of its employees, gathering a total of 1,834 essential items, which will be delivered to the Portuguese Red Cross that is supporting people affected by the recent storms.

This initiative stems from the Company's commitment to Social Responsibility and marks the first volunteer action by CP's new trainees, who coordinated the internal collection of goods.

The donation included a wide variety of items, notably:

• Food and beverages: 1,026 items
• Hygiene and personal care: 352 items
• Baby food: 108 items
• Health and first aid: 79 items
• Cleaning: 73 items
• Clothing and footwear: 176 items
• Pet supplies: 20 items

Financial donations to reinforce support

In addition to essential goods, our young colleagues also organised a collection of monetary donations, raising €1,770. CP is adding an institutional donation of €500 to this amount, reinforcing the response to the most urgent needs.

These amounts will be delivered to the Portuguese Red Cross, enabling the additional purchase of essential goods, in line with the priorities defined by local authorities on the ground, ensuring that support arrives quickly, effectively and in a targeted manner.
