Senior Technical Officer for Governance and Corporate Affairs – General Secretariat

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technician to join the General Secretariat and carry out duties within the scope of its technical activities, with increased responsibility for legal, regulatory and procedural compliance.
In particular, the successful candidate will provide specialised technical support on corporate governance, decision-making, and institutional and corporate coordination within the CP Group.
The role involves participation in highly significant processes, providing technical support to the Governing Bodies, as well as collaborating on regulatory harmonisation, procedural robustness and the promotion of good corporate governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialised technical advice to senior management and prepare structured information to support decision-making;
- Collaborate on regulatory harmonisation, procedural robustness and the promotion of good corporate governance practices;
- Produce technical information, analyses, opinions, background notes and documentation to support decision-making;
- Collaborate on the preparation, analysis and organisation of corporate, deliberative and institutional documentation;
- Contribute to projects relating to organisational modernisation, corporate governance and the continuous improvement of internal processes;
- Ensure coordination with audit, compliance and risk management;
- Participate in projects developed by the General Secretariat within its respective scope of activities.
Mandatory Requirements
- A degree in Law or Public Administration, completed prior to the application process.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Good command of English (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of legislation relating to Administrative Law, Public Procurement and Data Protection (GDPR);
- Knowledge in the areas of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), security and information confidentiality;
- Strong analytical and summarising skills, attention to detail and a critical mindset;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in technically and institutionally demanding contexts;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
- A strong sense of responsibility, commitment and identification with the organisation;
- A spirit of initiative, proactivity and autonomy;
