Hack the City conference

The event brings together transport operators, academia and the technology community.

CP will take part in the Hack the City: Mobility Challenge, running from 23 to 25 September and bringing together transport operators and organisations from the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, including TML, Metro de Lisboa, Carris, Carris Metropolitana, Transtejo Soflusa, EMEL, Parques Tejo and Cascais.

During the event, multidisciplinary teams will work on specific problems presented by the participating organisations, using data, artificial intelligence and digital twin concepts to develop new mobility solutions.

CP is taking part with challenges relating to rail transport and is also involved in challenges that cut across several operators, contributing to a more integrated approach to mobility and the search for solutions that link different modes of transport.

The initiative also brings together operators, academia and the tech community, offering new perspectives on real-world problems in the sector and enabling the testing of data-driven approaches.

Registration for the Hack the City: Mobility Challenge is open to students, researchers, programmers and other professionals interested in mobility, data and technology.
