CP - Comboios de Portugal is offering 7,000 promotional tickets on the Alfa Pendular service

The campaign means people can travel between Lisbon and Porto for €7.50, for example, or between Lisbon and Faro for €5.50.

CP – Comboios de Portugal is offering 7,000 promotional journeys on the Alfa Pendular service, with prices starting at €5.50, on various routes.

Tickets will go on sale from 29 September on CP’s digital channels, namely the website cp.pt, CP App and ticket vending machines, for journeys to be made between 8 and 28 October 2026.

With discounts of up to 80%, the initiative aims to encourage early purchase and provide customers with a quick and sustainable mobility alternative for business, academic or leisure travel, promoting the use of rail transport across the country.

These promotional journeys will be available for all destinations served by the Alfa Pendular and cover both Turística and Conforto classes. Among the planned offers, the standout routes are Lisbon-Porto from €7.50 in Turística and €10 in Conforto, Lisbon-Coimbra and Lisbon-Faro from €5.50, Lisbon-Aveiro from €6.50, Lisbon-Braga from €8, and Porto-Faro from €12.50 (Turística).

Promotional seats are available on all Alfa Pendular trains, on any day of the week, subject to availability for each connection. The campaign runs until 19 October or until the seats allocated to the campaign are sold out.

To benefit from the discount, tickets must be purchased at least 10 days in advance of the travel date.
