CP intern programme TrainUP | CP – Comboios de Portugal
CP's TrainUP 2025/2026 programme is looking for 40 young graduates who want to make a difference in the sustainable mobility sector.
CP – Comboios de Portugal has just launched its TrainUP 2025/2026 Trainee Programme, a paid professional internship programme on innovative mobility in Portugal.
CPTrainUP will start in September 2025 and last 12 months. It aims to open doors to young people with up to two years of experience, offering them solid training and a genuine opportunity to join the company. Recent graduates who want to make a difference in the sustainable mobility sector
Under the motto “Elevate your Future”, this programme is looking for candidates with a critical spirit, curiosity, a willingness to learn, an interest in sustainable mobility and innovation, communication and teamwork skills, who have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management, Engineering, Information Technology/Mathematics, Architecture, Marketing/Digital and Law.
The internships will take place in various parts of the country, including Lisbon, Porto, Entroncamento, and Vila Real de Santo António.
CPTrainUP offers theoretical and practical training, ranging from innovation to cybersecurity, ethics and sustainability, with involvement in real, strategic projects for the future of mobility and specialised mentoring, accompanied by experienced professionals. Selected candidates will have access to a 12-month programme, with the opportunity to join the company upon completion. They will receive an internship grant, meal allowance, accident insurance, and transport facilities (CP vouchers). Additionally, they will be able to contribute to the future of CP and the transformation of the Portuguese railway.
Applications for this first edition of the programme are open until 20 July 2025. The selection process includes a review of CVs and interviews, which will be held in August.
