Raiano

The train that connects Extremadura.

The Raiano train connects the Portuguese city of Entroncamento with the Spanish city of Badajoz in both directions every day.

It has toilets and space adaptaded for bicycles. Take a unique journey through the oak plains of the Alto Alentejo, passing through Ponte de Sor, Portalegre and Elvas - the Portuguese city with the largest number of UNESCO heritage sites. Enjoy this heritage as far as the ancient city of the Spanish Extremadura. Immerse yourself in the artistic and heritage riches of Badajoz and take the opportunity to get to know the city better. 

From Badajoz you can choose one of connections to Madrid and from Entroncamento connections to Lisbon or Porto.
