Portugal Rail Pass

• The Portugal Rail Pass consists of a personal, non-transferable card that allows you to travel for 3 or 7 days on all Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Regional/InterRegional and urban trains;
• Before starting any journey, you must fill in the date you are travelling on the Portugal Rail Pass card;
• Before boarding each train, you must show the ticket office your Portugal Rail Pass, for a ticket to be issued (free of charge), or on board from the ticket inspector if the ticket office is closed;
• The Portugal Rail Pass includes a rechargeable Navegante card so that you can travel on Lisbon's urban trains;
• If you are travelling on a Lisbon urban train, you don't need to request a ticket, but you must validate the Navegante card by swiping it in the validator machines at the stations;
• The Navegante card cannot be loaded with any other transport ticket until the Portugal Rail Pass expires;
• On the trains, you must show the ticket inspector the Portugal Rail Pass card (with the dates duly filled in) and the respective purchase receipt, as well as a valid ticket for the train you are travelling on;
• The Portugal Rail Pass cannot be changed or refunded, nor can the individual journeys it entitles you to;
• This card is valid for one month from the date of purchase, to be filled in by the CP ticket offices that sell this ticket.
