For occasional use, we offer a series of tickets tailored to different needs, loaded onto a reusable card with occasional tickets.
You can purchase your ticket at all stations, ticket offices, ticket vending machines at the departure stations or from Payshop agents.
If you cannot buy a ticket before boarding, you can purchase one on board by contacting the ticket inspector immediately after boarding.
Whenever you travel, validate your ticket.
If your journey involves more than one train, you only need to validate your ticket before boarding the first train.
You will need to validate tickets no more than 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the train.

We load this ticket onto the Siga reusable card, and it remains valid for a single holder. The Siga reusable card costs €0.50, in addition to the price of the 10-trip ticket, and it is valid for 1 year.

This app lets you travel with complete freedom, safe in the knowledge that at the end of the month, you will pay the lowest possible amount for your journeys.
How to sign up for anda
Anda is compatible with Android mobile phones running version 5.0 or higher, equipped with NFC and Bluetooth technologies, and is available on Google Play.
How to use Anda
- Always validate your ticket when you start your journey by holding your mobile phone close to the validator, keeping it steady at a distance of 2 to 3 centimetres, until a green light appears.
- Validate your journey with the Anda app before boarding the train.
- Check that the notification “viagem iniciada" (journey started) appears on the screen.
- During the journey, the Anda app will show you all the information about your route – point of origin, stations or stops;
- If a ticket inspector asks for your ticket, click on the Inspection icon and hold your mobile phone close to the inspector’s equipment;
- At the end of the journey, when you leave the vehicle, the app will end the journey after a few minutes.
Prices
Every month, the app analyses your travel records for that period and presents you with the most economical and advantageous fare solution. The bill arrives at your home at the end of the month.
