Technician - Electrical Engineer

Location: Porto Metropolitan Area
General duties:
- Participate in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) studies of the different systems of the selected rolling stock series;
- Participate in expert assessments associated with life cycle programmes;
- Assist in the review of the Quality Plans for vehicles and their respective bodies, preparation of Work Instructions for interventions and Record Forms;
- Analyse/control equipment failure modes and study and implement technical improvements;
- Coordinate the mechanical, pneumatic and electrical component repair team;
- Ability to intervene in the analysis, specialisation, design, industrialisation, commercialisation and use of products and services that use electricity, along with other forms of energy, with the support of electronics and information technologies;
- Study and/or verify proposals for changes to systems and equipment for energy capture, transformation and rotating electrical machines;
- Ability to structure reasoning from the perspective of engineering problem analysis and resolution;
- Ability to master the latest technologies and computational tools;
- Preparation of lists of materials and forecasting of needs;
- Training repair and maintenance teams.
Application requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Category B driving licence;
- Availability for domestic and international travel.
Preferred skills:
- Good knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM);
- Good knowledge of corporate computer applications (SAP);
- CAD computer skills.
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of automation and control;
- Good knowledge of industrial maintenance and repair;
- Knowledge in the areas of mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics;
- Knowledge of reading electrical, electronic and mechanical diagrams;
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
