CP volunteers mark World Environment Day

On 5 June, World Environment Day, CP held another corporate volunteering event, this time at Praia da Aguda in Vila Nova de Gaia, in partnership with the Nature Protection League, as part of the Circular Seas project.

Several colleagues actively contributed to cleaning up the beach and raising environmental awareness about the problem of marine litter, especially microplastics, cigarette butts, and other waste commonly found in our coastal areas.

This initiative is part of CP's Social Responsibility action plan, which also promotes the importance of Environmental Management for our company. To promote responsible and sustainable practices in line with the company's strategic objectives for protecting the environment, it seeks to achieve this goaly reinforce CP's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, but also train employees in the importance of a conscious environmental journey, as active citizens who are aware of their role in protecting the planet.
