About the role

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the Sales Department Planning and Management Support team – Northern Region, with organisational skills, rigour and analytical abilities. The role involves document management, administrative support and invoicing validation.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive and register contracts and orders;
  • Create and update warehouse reserves;
  • Analyse accounts, discrepancies and respective corrections;
  • Monitor and analyse contracts;
  • Resolve disputes between suppliers and contract managers;
  • Receive, control and distribute supplies/consumables to various locations across the country;
  • Prepare transport requests;
  • Validate invoices;
  • Issue duplicate invoices;
  • Create and process customer refunds.

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • 12th grade or equivalent;
  • Proven experience in administrative functions (minimum 1 to 2 years).
  • Skills
  • Good knowledge of administration, preferably with a sales and/or financial focus;
  • Computer skills from a user perspective (Excel, Word);
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Good attention to detail and concentration;
  • Good numerical reasoning and ease in performing calculations;
  • Good communication skills (oral and written);
  • Good organisational, execution and rigour skills at work;
  • Good teamwork skills;
  • Interest in activities involving interpersonal contact and helping to resolve problems/situations;
  • Ability to adapt to new situations;
  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Attitudes and behaviours guided by high standards of ethics, confidentiality, rigour and loyalty.

Selection Process

The selection process may include psychological assessment, technical knowledge testing and an interview. The selection stages are eliminatory.

Admission is subject to physical fitness for the role, as assessed by a medical examination.
