Volta a Portugal cycling race

Take the train to Porto.

The 87th edition of the Volta a Portugal cycling race takes place between 5 and 16 August, comprising 10 stages and 11 days of competition.

Avenida dos Aliados in Porto is the finish line for the final stage of the race, providing the backdrop for one of the key moments of celebration in Portuguese cycling’s premier event.

On 16 August, take the train to watch the finish of the final stage of the Volta a Portugal cycling race; more seats are available on Porto urban trains, so you can travel in greater comfort and safety.

Porto São Bento station (Porto Urban, Regional and Inter-regional trains) is the closest station to the event venue.
