Tagus Race

Take the train to Oeiras.

On 13 September, come and take part in the Tagus Race.

Sign up for the 10-kilometre race, which starts at Algés Station and finishes at Praia da Torre in Oeiras, and enjoy a day of sport and socialising.

Take part in the Tagus  Race, make the most of our discounts and free travel on the Cascais line for participants.

Algés Station is the closest to the event venue.

  • To meet the transport needs of the public and participants in the Tagus Race on Avenida Marginal in Oeiras, we will temporarily suspend modernisation works on the Cascais line on the morning of Sunday 13 September, along with the associated replacement bus service; trains will therefore run according to the regular timetable.

Intercidades, Regional and Interregional

Enjoy 30% off return journeys, valid from 12 to 14 September, on regular service trains bound for Lisbon, upon presentation of proof of registration for the event at the time of purchase and during ticket inspection.

The discount is not valid in conjunction with other discounts or offers.

You may change bookings for the period during which the discount is valid, and refunds are available in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

Lisbon Urban Trains

Participants can travel free of charge on the Cascais line on the day of the event until 4.00 p.m. if they show their race number.

Intercidades, Regional and Interregional

You can buy tickets from CP ticket offices or on the train when boarding at stations without a ticket office. Payment on board can be made in cash.
