Senior Technician - (Operating Systems) - Information Technology Department

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technician to join the Information Technology Department, responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, and monitoring of information solutions and systems. The duties include promoting the digitization and dematerialization of processes, liaising with operational areas and suppliers, as well as contract management and control of the provision of services and supply of goods associated with information systems.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in the survey of functional and technological requirements for new solutions and systems;
  • Collaborate on projects for the development, implementation, and testing of operating systems (solutions/platforms) and the process of integration with other systems in the organization;
  • Develop and monitor projects, identifying, in particular, processes that can be digitized/dematerialized in coordination with operational areas;
  • Carry out and monitor projects in the context of organizational change tools for digitization;
  • Liaise with operational areas for analysis/specifications;
  • Prepare specifications within the scope of operating systems (schedules, material rotations, personnel);
  • Manage Information System contracts, monitor their life cycle, and prepare procedural documents for contracting the supply of services or goods;
  • Control and promote the validation of services or goods provided, enabling the respective payments to suppliers.
     

Mandatory Requirements

  • Higher education degree in Engineering or related areas of Information Systems and Technologies.

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree in Transportation;
  • Technical knowledge in application development;
  • Availability for domestic and international travel.

 

Skills

  • Proficiency in the use of communication tools (e.g., Teams, email) and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office);
  • Knowledge of data analysis;
  • Knowledge of optimization/operational research;
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written);
  • Ability to systematize, synthesize, and work with precision;

Selection Process

The selection process may include psychological assessment, technical knowledge test, and interview. The selection stages are eliminatory.

Admission is subject to physical fitness for the role, as assessed by a medical examination.
