Senior Technical – Innovation and Transformation (Office of Innovation and International Relations)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Technician to join the Innovation and International Relations Office. The successful candidate will support the implementation and monitoring of CP’s innovative initiatives, contributing to the innovation roadmap and the continuous improvement of the Innovation Management System, as well as to the analysis and monitoring of results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of innovation projects and initiatives, ensuring their structuring, development and decision support (technology pilots, projects with universities/partners and innovation indicators);
- Monitor the results and impacts of initiatives, contributing to the assessment of their value and progress;
- Contribute to the development of the innovation roadmap aligned with the future challenges of rail mobility; Support the continuous improvement of the Innovation Management System, helping to structure and turn ideas into solutions; Contribute to the revitalisation of the internal innovation community, promoting the sharing of ideas and collaboration.
Mandatory Requirements
- A degree in Economics, Engineering, Management, Project Management, Information Systems and Technologies or similar, completed by the application deadline;
- Relevant professional experience in project management/coordination, innovation, transformation, PMO or consultancy roles.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in innovation initiatives (digital transformation, technology pilots, open innovation, culture and internal mobilisation);
- Good knowledge of project management and cross-functional coordination (planning, monitoring, reporting);
- Good knowledge of initiative/project evaluation and business case development;
- Good knowledge of management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall);
- Training and/or certification in Project Management (PMP®, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) and/or a Postgraduate/Advanced Programme in Project Management;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel) and management and planning tools (preferably MS Project and/or Project Online);
- Good command of English (spoken and written);
- Availability for short-term travel.
