About the Job
We are looking for a Senior Officer to join the Finance Department, with solid skills in financial control, reconciliations and banking management. The role involves payment management, monthly accounting closure, receipt control and treasury-related reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and draw up payment proposals to suppliers in a rigorous and timely manner;
- Manage and resolve complaints or disputes related to payments;
- Develop processes for opening and closing bank accounts;
- Administer the allocation, use and control of credit cards;
- Carry out the monthly accounting closure of bank accounts;
- Circulate bank balances, ensuring the information is reliable;
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare the respective support reports;
- Control receipts and account for various payments/receipts;
- Monitor and report on the monthly financial position and cash flow.
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar.
Preferred Requirements
- One year's experience in similar roles.
Skills
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting, management, planning and budget control;
- Good knowledge of SAP, FI and TR modules;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written);
- Good data analysis and synthesis skills, with a focus on the accuracy of financial information and technical details;
- Ability to plan and organise, ensuring that they will comply strictly with critical deadlines (monthly/annual closings and tax obligations);
- High sense of responsibility, integrity and professional ethics in handling sensitive data and financial processes;
- Initiative in identifying deviations and agility in proposing solutions and improving processes;
- High capacity for concentration and flexibility to deal with periods of increased workload or regulatory changes;
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Selection Process
