Material Preparer and Manoeuvrer

Locations: Contumil, Valença, Guarda, Santa Apolónia, Évora, Figueira da Foz and Faro but may include travel necessary for the performance of their duties.
General Duties:
Perform all tasks specific to the Professional Category of Equipment and Manoeuvres Preparer, namely:
- Performing rolling stock inspection and preparation operations;
- Performing shunting services, coupling and uncoupling railway vehicles, among other tasks;
- Carrying out itineraries on lines assigned to the respective service;
- Assisting drivers in manoeuvring, parking or securing rolling stock;
- Ensuring and supporting, when necessary, the testing of train brakes;
- Carrying out the necessary supplies to rolling stock;
- Performing minor repairs, lubrication, cleaning and replacement of rolling stock components;
- Checking the operating and safety conditions of rolling stock;
- Moving motor units in manoeuvring activities when applicable.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Educational qualifications equivalent to 12th grade;
- Availability to work irregular daytime and nighttime hours.

Selection Process:
The selection process includes a psychological assessment and interview. The selection stages are eliminatory.
Admission is dependent on the role's physical fitness requirements, as assessed by a medical examination.
