APDC awards CP Honourable Mention

Real-Time Information Project wins Mobility and Logistics award.

The organisers officially presented the Honourable Mention awarded to the Real-Time Information project on 1 July during the 34th Digital Business Congress of the APDC, held at Culturgest in Lisbon.

During the ceremony, CP highlighted the project’s importance in enhancing the quality of information provided to passengers, demonstrating the company's attention to their needs and commitment to improving the travel experience.

The project, developed by CP’s internal teams, resulted in the creation of an innovative platform that provides real-time train traffic status to passengers and employees. The solution utilises technologies such as IoT, omnichannel services, and the interoperability of embedded systems, significantly contributing to the predictability and efficiency of the service.

APDC promoted the 4th edition of the Cities and Territories of the Future award, and the organisers awarded this distinction to recognise technological solutions with a positive impact on city life, especially in the areas of mobility, sustainability and quality of life.
