Don't be afraid to try validating several times in a row whenever you experience difficulty.

The first validation records the journey. Subsequent validations, made immediately afterwards and in the same place, do not deduct any balance or count as additional journeys.

In the case of isbon and Porto urban trains, after a correct first validation, you will only be charged for a new journey if you validate after 15 minutes and only in the case of occasional tickets.
