CP awarded COTEC 2025 Innovator Status

COTEC recognises the company for its ability to innovate with economic impact.

CP – Comboios de Portugal received, for the first time, the COTEC 2025 innovator status, an initiative promoted by COTEC Portugal that aims to recognise national companies with high performance in innovation, financial strength and management quality.

In the fifth edition of this programme, 1,551 companies applied, and the organisers awarded just over 1,100 Status awards. CP now joins this select group of organisations recognised for their ability to generate value through innovative and sustainable practices.

The distinction reinforces the company’s technological and digital modernisation strategy, highlighting its contribution to a more efficient and resilient railway system that is aligned with the challenges of the energy transition.
