Cascais Line - Replacement bus service

See all the information on the changes resulting from the on-going works.

A valid ticket must be presented when boarding the replacement buses.

Validate your ticket at the ticket validators located at the entrances to the replacement buses. All passes, season tickets, and tickets must be validated.

The journey times for the replacement bus service may vary depending on traffic conditions.

CP buses are identified and equipped with access ramps for people with reduced mobility.

The replacement bus service cannot carry wheelchairs, bicycles or scooters. Small pets can be taken if the animal is in an appropriate container that can be carried as hand luggage.

Replacement bus service suspended over the weekend of 21, 22 and 23 November. Resumes on 24 November, from 21:50.

A replacement bus service covers the route between Cascais and Oeiras, with stops at Monte Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos stations.

On the Cascais – Cais do Sodré route, there is no guaranteed connection to scheduled trains at Oeiras station, except for the last train of the night.

Bus stops

Train traffic will be interrupted between Cais do Sodré and Algés, and the route will be covered by a replacement bus service, stopping at Belém, Alcântara-Mar and Santos stations, on the following days and at the following times:

21st November (Friday)

Departures from Cais do Sodré:

22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30, 24:00, 00:30, 01:00 and 01:30.

Departures from Cascais:

21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30, 24:00, 00:30, 01:00 and 01:30.

22nd November (Saturday)

Departures from Cais do Sodré:

24:00, 00:30, 01:00 e 01:30.

Departures from Cascais:

23h30, 24:00, 00:30, 01:00 e 01:30.

23rd November (Sunday):

Departures from Cais do Sodré:

05:30, 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, 07:30, 08:00 and 08:20;
20:00, 20:30, 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30, 24:00, 00:30, 01:00 and 01:30.

Departures from Cascais:

05:30, 06:00, 06:30, 07:04, 07:24 and 07:44;
19:34, 20:04, 20:34, 21:04, 21:30, 22:00, 22:30, 23:00, 23:30, 24:00, 00:30, 01:00 and 01:30

On the replacement bus service, journey times may vary depending on traffic conditions.

On the Cascais - Cais do Sodré section, there is no connection to the timetabled trains at Oeiras station, except for the last train of the night.

You must have a valid ticket to board the replacement bus service.

Validate your ticket at the validators at the replacement bus entrances. All passes, subscriptions, and tickets must be validated.
