Changes to train service and replacement bus service
Update – 5 February:
From 17:00 on 5 February, and until further notice, train services on the Cascais Line will be subject to timetable changes due to disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions:
- Cais do Sodré to Cascais: Trains are scheduled to depart Cais do Sodré at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour.
- Cascais to Cais do Sodré: Trains are scheduled to depart Cascais at 04 and 34 minutes past the hour.
These trains will call at all stations.
- Oeiras to Cais do Sodré: These services are cancelled.
The replacement bus service on the Oeiras ↔ Cascais section will continue to operate according to the planned schedule.
Due to adverse weather conditions as well, and the consequent changes to the schedule of the modernization works, the train timetable and platform changes planned for February 8 will not take place.
Due to engineering works by IP, Infraestruturas de Portugal, the route between Cascais and Oeiras has been operated by a replacement bus service, with stops at Monte Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos stations.

The journey times for the replacement bus service may vary depending on traffic conditions.
CP buses are identified and equipped with access ramps for people with reduced mobility.
The replacement bus service cannot carry wheelchairs, bicycles or scooters. Small pets can be taken if the animal is in an appropriate container that can be carried as hand luggage.
