There is no ticket office or vending machine at the station where I board. How can I buy a ticket?

If there is no other means of sale available at the boarding point or in the surrounding area - 200 metres beyond the area bounded by the station - you can buy your ticket on the train. To do this, you must go to the ticket inspector before or immediately after boarding and before taking your seat to ask for your ticket. On board, payment is made in cash only.

In the case of Long-Distance trains (Alfa Pendular, Intercidades and Regional/InterRegional) and Coimbra Urban Trains, tickets can also be purchased online, via the Customer Care Line or on the CP App mobile application, up to 15 minutes before the train starts its journey.
