What are the CP App notifications?
Notifications let you receive useful, context-specific information about your journeys, such as delays, cancellations and other incidents, via notifications sent by the CP App directly to your mobile phone, email or by text message, in accordance with the rules set out for each type of communication. The “Notifications” section of the CP App shows a history of the notifications you have received over the last seven days.
You can receive notifications relating to a journey booked online, even without a myCP account. However, having a myCP account allows you to make the most of the notifications on the CP App and receive first-hand information, based on your travel preferences and favourite journeys. When you create a myCP account, you can set your travel preferences and save your favourite journeys in the “Favourites” section of the CP App, thereby receiving relevant information about the services and trains you have chosen to follow. You must also give your consent to activate these notifications if you want to receive alerts about changes to services, fares, sales channels and services.
They allow you to specify the lines or commercial services you wish to monitor. Based on these preferences, you can receive notifications about incidents affecting the selected services.
You can choose how and about what you would like to be notified in the CP app, under “Notifications > Preferences”.
To receive notifications relating to your travel preferences, please give your consent in the myCP section to receive alerts containing information about changes to traffic, fares, sales channels and services.
We send notifications based on the type of journey or preference, consent, and the rules applicable to communication. Notifications arise for specific situations. For delays, we follow specific rules governing when we send notifications, including a minimum threshold and a time window prior to departure, which vary depending on the type of service.
