CP wins the SAP SuccessFactors Public Sector Award

Innovation in people management earns recognition in the public sector.

CP – Comboios de Portugal received the SAP SuccessFactors Public Sector Award, a distinction that recognises excellence in digital transformation within the public sector, specifically in the field of people management. The award ceremony took place on 15 April, during the “SAP SuccessFactors HR Connect” event, which took place at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion in Lisbon. CP was represented by Ana Horta, the Board Member responsible for People, the Director of the People and Organisational Culture Department, and the team that worked directly on the project.
 
This year, the Public Sector category recognised an institution with around 4,000 employees, which has consistently invested in innovation and which, in early 2025, began implementing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, creating a solid foundation for the modernisation of people management. This development was reinforced by a robust analytical component, supported by SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere, enabling greater visibility into data, more informed decision-making, and more agile and efficient management.
 
This award recognised CP as an organisation that has driven innovation in the public sector through modern, integrated management focused on the development of its people and teams.
