Lisbon urban train tickets

See all the tickets for occassional journeys on the Lisbon urban trains.

If you only use the Lisbon urban trains occasionally, there is a series of tickets you can choose from and which are adapted to different needs. They are all loaded onto a reusable "Viva Viagem" card which costs just €0.50.

This card only lets you use one kind of ticket at a time, so you cannot top it up with new tickets until you have used all the old ones.

You must get your tickets for the Sintra, Cascais, Azambuja e Sado lines at the station from the ticket offices or the ticket vending machines before boarding .

Remember to validate your ticket before boarding. Customers should keep their receipt while the tickets are valid.

After validating a ticket on your Viva Viagem card, do not conduct any other operations with it during the journey validity time, such as buying new tickets, as this could cancel the validation.

All tickets have a deadline for the journey. See the journey times here
