Where and How can I use the Green Rail Pass?

With this Pass, you can travel on any route on Regional, InterRegional and Coimbra Urban trains, and in 2nd class on Intercidades trains.

On Lisbon Urban trains, you can travel outside the metropolitan area (between Carregado and Azambuja).

On Porto Urban trains, you can travel outside the metropolitan area (between Vila das Aves/Guimarães; Paredes/Marco de Canaveses; Paramos/Aveiro and Lousado/Braga). While in transit, passengers must present proof of purchase to the ticket inspector, when requested.

For Intercidades services, an advance seat reservation is mandatory, free of charge, and can be made at the Online Ticket Office, App CP, CP ticket offices, and the new Automatic Vending Machines installed at stations in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
Each seat reservation must be made no more than 24 hours in advance.
Only one reservation is allowed for the same train/dayIf you do not make a reservation for the Intercidades train, you will be considered as traveling without a valid ticket and subject to a fine.

This pass is loaded onto the CP Card. If you do not have this card, you must obtain one.
