Cascais Line - Replacement bus service
Modernisation of the Cascais Line
CP trains on the Cais do Sodré - Algés - Cais do Sodré section will be suspended at certain times due to the modernisation works on the Cascais Line.
The interventions to modernise the Cascais Line will improve mobility and access conditions for passengers:
- installation of a new signalling and speed control system;
- installation of Public Information and Video Surveillance systems;
- remodelling of various stations and platforms.

The modernization works on the Cascais Line and the replacement bus service will end earlier than expected.
Train circulation between Cascais and Oeiras will resume at 8:40 am.

The modernization works and the replacement bus service will return to the normal in the afternoon, on the same day.

Trains running between Cascais - Oeiras - Cascais are cancelled in some sections of the line since 11 March 2024.
There will be a replacement bus service in these areas.
