Navegante reusable card

Put each operator's monthly multimodal and combined tickets on a single card.

The "Navegante" card is personal and non-transferable. This card is equipped with contactless technology, which allows access to transport operators in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. It lets passengers load each operator's own monthly, multimodal, combined, and occasional Zapping tickets.

Types: Normal, Student (Sub 18+TP and Student Sub 23+TP), Youth, Senior (Navegante + 65), Retiree/Pensioner, Social+, Veteran.

The navegante app, which allows you to top up passes and consult the contents of the Navegante® card, is now available from the iOS and Android stores.

The VIVA GO service can be used on the transport operators CP, Carris, Fertagus, Metropolitano de Lisboa, Metro Sul do Tejo, Soflusa and Trantejo and allows you to pay for journeys as you use them. On CP, each use will cost €2.00.

In order to achieve carbon neutrality for Lisbon by 2030, a sustainability measure has been launched with the navegante® card, which grants free parking in car parks.

Which car parks are covered?

In a first phase:

  • Colégio Militar car park | 415 spaces
  • Ameixoeira car park | 489 spaces
  • Avenida de Pádua car park | 248 spaces

How do I get free access?

On first use, the holder of the Navegante® Card, previously loaded with a valid pass, must go to the booth in each of the car parks where they wish to park to register their card in the system by filling in a form.
You only need to fill in the form once.

How do I renew my access?

At the beginning of each month, you will need to renew your right to free access to Parque navegante®, and you will need to prove that you have a valid pass for the month in question. To do this, you must go to the booth in each of the car parks where you want to park to validate your monthly top-up.

How can I check that I have my pass topped up?

The user must download the navegante® App and scan the card, proving that they have a valid pass for that month.

Opening times

Navegante® Card holders who have a valid navegante® pass can stay free of charge in the referenced car parks 7 days a week between 7.30 and 21.00. Outside this period, the standard rate will be charged.
