Students with the 4_18 profile, aged up to 18 and sub23, up to 23 inclusive, or university students enrolled in the Medicine and Architecture courses aged up to 24 inclusive, have the right to 25% or 60% off the normal price of a CP pass for the urban trains (in Oporto, Coimbra and Lisbon) and the regional service. Apart from the CP trains, you can also travel on the buses and boats, and even the municipal public transport covered by the firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com services.

If you do not have a card, you should go to a CP ticket office and show the required documents to prove you’re entitled to the discount and ask for the card.

Your card will be issued once you deliver all the required documents.

The 4_18/SUB23 card is valid for up to 4 years, up until the end of the month when you turn 19 (for the 4_18) or 24 (for the SUB23).
In order to have access to the monthly 4_18/SUB23 pass, you have to load the card or buy a ticket at a CP ticket office showing your firstname.lastname@example.org or SUB23@superior.tp card.

Every year at the beginning of the school year, you have to present a new declaration from your school to get 25% or 60% off the price of the SUB23 or 4_18 pass.
For children aged under 6 up to December 31 each year you need to submit the documents proving their age and place of residence.

If you stop being a beneficiary of the 4_18 or SUB23 card, you can still get a Youth Pass but you have to ask for the new card to be issued
