Cascais line - replacement bus service - Cascais <> Oeiras - from 12 May

From next Monday, 12 May, rail services will resume between Cais do Sodré and Algés.

The resumption of service on this section comes after the completion of the work, as part of constructing the new tunnel connecting the future Santos Station to the current Cais do Sodré Station on the future Circular line.

Once this work is complete, the infrastructure manager will resume operations on the Oeiras <> Cascais section, with connections provided by a replacement bus service.[1]

CP buses are clearly identified, and information on the bus stops can also be found at CP Customer Service Offices and ticket offices.

Between Cascais and Oeiras, bus connections are only guaranteed for the last train of the night to Cais do Sodré.

The replacement bus service has access ramps for people with reduced mobility.

Bikes are not allowed on the replacement bus service.

Small pets can be taken if the animal is in an appropriate container that can be carried as hand luggage.

Group tickets are not valid on the replacement bus service.
