Cantinho das Aromáticas, near Vila Nova de Gaia, one of the few urban farms in all of western Europe that does biological farming. It is mainly geared towards producing and selling medicinal and culinary herbs, using biological principles in its production methods. It is the only farm of its kind in Portugal and currently grows about 150 different kinds of herbs.

When: Any time of year. It is open to the public weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00 and Saturdays from 09:30 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 18:00.
Where: Vila Nova de Gaia - Coimbrões station - Quinta do Paço is about 15 minutes away on foot.
