Paisagem na Ecopista do Sabor

Sabor Ecopista
This 34-kilometre-long pedestrian and cycling trail runs along the old Sabor railway line, in the section between the north bank of the River Douro at Pocinho and Carviçais. It has public lighting in the urban sections (Moncorvo, Larinho, Carvalhal and Carviçais) and is equipped with signs and street furniture. The rehabilitation of the built heritage has converted it into support and shelter infrastructures. Between Torre de Moncorvo and Carviçais there are views over the Baixo Sabor valley and the Serra do Reboredo, and from Torre de Moncorvo to Pocinho you can see the Douro valley. Its points of interest are the International Douro Natural Park, to the east, the Baixo Sabor Valley (Sabor Lakes), to the north, the Upper Douro Valley (Alto Douro Vinhateiro, World Heritage), to the west and the Côa Valley (Rock Art), to the south.
