During the Portuguese Discoveries, several caravels left from Lisbon, carrying fearless Portuguese navigators who gave “New Worlds to Worlds of older men”.
In this period of time and considering the historical context, very important monuments were build, such as: Tower of Belém and Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, both classified as “World Heritage Sites” by UNESCO in 1983.
