08:15 - Board the Intercidades train No 541, from Lisbon Santa Apolonia station;
11h41 – Arrival to Fundão – Welcome reception at the station, departure on a bus with a guide to Alcongosta, for a visit in a tourist train through the Cherry Trees in Blossom in Serra da Gardunha.
13h00 – Return to Fundão for a free lunch in a city restaurant;
15h00 – Departure on a bus with a guide to Vila de Alpedrinha, followed by a visit to this beautiful location against a natural scenery where manor houses and small rural houses are built, comprising a remarkable historical centre which provides a monumental and aristocrat vision to anyone who visits it;
16h30 – Departure on a bus with a guide to visit the Castelo Novo Historical Village for a local product tasting. This is one of the 12 Historical Villages of Portugal, a village from the 13th century – a time when rock and water became identity traits. Surrounded by Serra da Gardunha it demands to be contemplated, admired and unveiled. Finish your visit by climbing the Castle and admiring the vastness of the horizon, where you will see that Castelo Novo is the traveller’s sweetest souvenir;
19:07 - Board Intercidades No. 544 back to Lisbon, arriving at Santa Aplonia at 22:20.
Passengers can also board at Vila Franca de Xira, Santarém, Entroncamento or Abrantes.
