Wine & Music Valley - special trains

The Wine & Music Valley is the first major wine-inspired festival and will be taking place on the banks of the Douro River, at Porto Comercial de Cambres (Lamego), on September 14 and 15.

In addition to the festival's wine offering, the musical proposals include some of the greatest names at national and international level, such as Bryan Ferry, Xutos & Pontapés, Salvador Sobral, among others.

Porto Comercial de Cambres is a 40-minute walk from the Régua Station.

The festival organisation provides free transfer between the Régua Station and the venue.

Special Needs Customers intending to use these trains must be informed in advance of the conditions of the SIM service.

Celta, Intercidades

  • 30% off return journeys to Oporto, between September 13 and 16.
  • Refunded and reissued only for the period during which the discount is valid.

Regional and InterRegional

  • 5% discount on return journeys to the Régua Station, valid between September 13 and 16, with outward journey on any Regional/InterRegional train – except the train (IR865) departing from Oporto São Bento at 9:20 – and homeward journey on the special train at 02:45, of September 15 and 16.
  • Refunded and reissued only for the period during which the discount is valid.

Oporto Urban Trains

  • Special €2 return ticket on the Oporto Urban Trains, as an add-on to your Long-distance journey. Valid for journeys between September 13 and 16, depending on the date of your Long-distance/InterRegional or Regional ticket. These tickets must be bought when you book your journey.
  • It cannot be refunded nor reissued.
  • To travel on the Oporto Urban Trains you just need a Siga card, without journeys, or a Siga Pass card. If you do not have a Siga card, you can buy one for an additional cost of €0.50. Before boarding the train, you must always validate your ticket.

The proof that you are entitled to the discounts or special offer is shown at the time you buy the train ticket and on board, during the inspection, upon presenting the event entrance ticket. If customers fail to present the abovementioned document, they will be considered passengers without ticket and shall be subject to the penalties provided for by the Law. It cannot be used together with other discounts or special offers in force.

Celta, Intercidades, Regional and InterRegional

Available from the Online Ticket Office, CP AppCP ticket offices and other sales points, or on board if the departure stations do not have an available ticket office. The payment on board can only be made in cash or with the CPmais card.

The 30% and 5% discounts are only available from the CP ticket offices or on board when the departure station does not have an available ticket office.

Oporto Urban Trains

Special €2 return ticket available from the CP ticket offices (as an add-on to a Long-distance/InterRegional or Regional journey).

If you are coming from Lisboa Oriente, you can get special rates at the station car park.

If you travel on the Oporto Urban Trains, you can use its large range of free car parks and there are special rates at the paid parks.
