Come to the Guimarães travel fair by train
Guimarães in the north of Portugal is hosting the 3rd edition of the ABVP Travel Fest on 23 and 24 September. The Teatro Jordão in Guimarães is the stage for the festival designed for travel bloggers, travel and tourism agents, and anyone interested in travelling.
This year's edition features inspiring speakers from Canada, the United States, Brazil, Angola, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain and Portugal, and parallel activities. The guest speakers' presentations cover all topics related to travel, how we publicise it and how we deal with its challenges, including photography, writing, video and the sustainability of tourism.

Regional and InterRegional
30% discount valid from 22 to 25 September for return journeys to Guimarães if you show your festival ticket.
Not valid in conjunction with other discounts or offers.
These tickets can be refunded or exchanged.
Porto Urban Trains
Special €2 return ticket on the Porto urban trains from any station on the network to Guimarães if you show your festival ticket.
Discount valid on 23 and 24 September.
These tickets are non-refundable, but exchanges are permitted under the conditions laid down in the regulations for normal tickets.
Regional and InterRegional
The 30% discount is available from CP ticket offices or on the train when boarding at stations without a ticket office. Payment on board can only be made in cash or with a CPmais card.
Porto urban trains
The special €2 ticket is available from CP ticket offices, Automatic Vending Machines (AVMs) or on board when boarding at stations without a ticket office.
Payment on board can only be made in cash.
You need a blank Siga card or a CP pass. If you don't have a Siga card, you can buy one for an additional €0.50.
Validate your ticket before boarding the train.
