CP had 145 million passengers in 2019 – 19 million more than in 2018

In 2019, CP - Comboios de Portugal had 145 million passengers, confirming the growth trend seen in previous years, and which was common to all the Company's services.

This growth corresponded to about 19 million more passengers and an increase of around 15% compared to 2018.

Similarly, traffic revenues followed the trend, reaching approximately 274 million euros, an increase of 5.7% compared to 2018.

Lisbon and Oporto Urban Trains registered the highest growth, with 103 million (+18.4%) passengers in Lisbon, and 24 million (+7.7%) in Oporto.

In Long Distance services, CP had around 6.7 million passengers (+4.9%). In the regional service, around 11 million passengers choose to travel throughout the year, an increase of 5.2% compared to 2018.
