MiraDouro returns to the Douro Line - from July 12

From next July 12, MiraDouro train will provide all interregional connections between Oporto and Pocinho, one of the most emblematic rail routes in our network.

MiraDouro is made up of a locomotive and Schindler carriages - produced in the 1940s by the Swiss manufacturer Schindler - and benefits from a large interior space, with wide and panoramic windows, providing customers with a better view of the Douro vineyard landscape along the way.

MiraDouro train is the result of a CP commitment to recover a set of rolling stock of great relevance in the history of Portuguese rail transport, which provided the transport service on the Douro Line between 1949 and 1977.
