December 3 – CP offers journeys to Special Needs Customers

As in previous years, CP – Comboios de Portugal will join the International Day of Persons with Disabilities celebrations, by offering journeys on all trains to its Special Needs Customers and respective accompanying adult.

In order to travel for free, the document that attests the disability must be presented at a CP ticket office, in particular, a disability card of the Armed Forces, a multiuse disability certificate, a  disability card issued by CP or a card issued by Associations recognized in this field.

Clients must book their seats if they wish to travel on a long-distance train.

Since 2009, CP – Comboios de Portugal has been involved with this celebration, mobilizing the community, once again, for the rights and well-being of these citizens.

Within the same scope, the Company continues their support for mobility policy, including, among other initiatives, the SIM – Integrated Mobility Service provision, aimed to support the planning and assistance in train journeys, which may be requested, at the latest 24 hours in  advance, through a dedicated phone line – 707 210 746.
