Christmas historical steam train to run between Porto São Bento and Ermesinde

On 17, 18, 22 and 30 December and early next year, on 7 and 8 January, CP - Comboios de Portugal will run a special Christmas edition of the Historical Steam Train, but this time on the route between Porto São Bento and Ermesinde.

In this edition, there will be four trains a day, with steam engine 0186 and five historical carriages, with 254 seats.

Entertainment will be provided by a folk dance group during the journeys,.

On the journey from Porto São Bento to Ermesinde, the first train of the day will depart at 15:03 and arrive in Ermesinde at 15:29, while the second train will depart at 19:55 and arrive in Ermesinde at 20:21.
In the other direction from Ermesinde to Porto São Bento the trains leave Ermesinde at 16:40 and 21:25, arriving in Porto São Bento at 17:18 and 22:10, respectively.

During these trips, passengers can visit the Ermesinde Urban Park, where they can visit the Christmas Village and admire the largest Christmas tree in the country.

The price, for each one-way trip, is €10 for adults, while the price for children, from 4 to 12 years old (inclusive), is €5.
Holders of tickets for the Christmas steam train also get unlimited trave on the Porto Urban Trains that day.
