CP’s gastronomic circuits promote the Portuguese Olive Oil, Grapes and Wine – autumn 2019

In the context of the support for the promotion of the regions and their gastronomy, which CP – Comboios the Portugal promotes through railway tourism programmes, three of the most charismatic Circuits that the Company offers have now been re-edited.

Thus, from October onwards, the Alentejo Olive Oil and Wine Circuit takes place from Tuesday to Saturday, with a journey by train to Ermidas do Sado, bus transfer to Ferreira do Alentejo and a guided visit through this Village, as well as lunch, wine tasting and Alentejo singing.

Still in the Alentejo region, the Seedless Grape Circuit, also from this month onwards, takes place from Tuesday to Saturday and provides contact with the grape picking process and its packaging, through a guided visit to Herdade Vale da Rosa.

In Beira Baixa, from November 2 and on Saturdays, the Olive Circuit of Beira Baixa, includes the train journey to Rodão and several activities, namely the visit to the Natural Monument Portas de Ródão, lunch, guided visit to Herdade da Tojeira, olive oil tasting and olive picking.
