CP at the Transport Research Arena - TRA Lisbon 2022

CP - Comboios de Portugal will be one of the main sponsors and exhibitors at the 'Transport Research Arena' - TRA Lisbon 2022. This year's theme of the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility is "Moving Together - Reimagining Mobility Worldwide".
CP Director Joaquim Guerra will participate in the second Plenary Session. CP will also be represented in the "Portugal Corner" exhibition space.

CP will also hold an exhibition of rolling stock, from 14 to 20 November, between 9 am and 5 pm, on Line 3 next to Jardim Docas da Ponte (parallel to the Lisbon Congress Centre, on the river side), with some units refurbished in the workshops over the last three years.

• three Arco series carriages acquired in 2020, currently running on the Minho line in an InterRegional service;
• two Schindler series coaches presently running on the Douro line;
• one electric locomotive from the 2600 series
• the VIP coach, a coach with a meeting room, which is part of CP's offer for rental to groups who wish to work on board
• a generator wagon, a unit used to supply power to trains composed of machine and coach, when necessary.

The exhibition is open to the public and can be visited free of charge.
