CP attends18th COTEC Europe Summit

CP attended the 18th COTEC Europe Summit, held on 13 and 14 May in Coimbra. The meeting brought together business leaders, academics, and political decision-makers from Portugal, Spain, and Italy, including the Heads of State of the three countries.

During the event, CP's Centre for Development and Electronic Studies presented the company's technological challenges due to the age of its railway fleet and the innovative solutions developed to ensure its efficient operation.
It also highlighted the projects CP is developing to advance the energy transition, including using renewable energy sources and electrifying diesel vehicles.

This participation reaffirms CP's role as an innovative company, committed to sustainability and open to collaboration with technological and academic partners, in line with European goals for the future of transport.
