Cascais Line - 12 to 14 June
Changes to train service

Due to engineering works, the following changes will apply on 21 June:
Cais do Sodré–Cascais
- Between 05:30 and 08:00 – trains will run between Cais do Sodré and Caxias, with a replacement bus service between Caxias and Cascais;
- Between 08:20 and 11:40 (inclusive) – trains will run between Cais do Sodré and São Pedro do Estoril, with a replacement bus service between São Pedro do Estoril and Cascais;
- Between 12:00 and 19:00 – trains will run according to the usual timetable between Cais do Sodré and Cascais.
- From 19:30 – trains will run between Cais do Sodré and Caxias, with a replacement bus service between Caxias and Cascais.
Cascais – Cais do Sodré
- Between 05:30 and 08:24 – there will be a replacement bus service between Cascais and Caxias, and trains will run between Caxias and Cais do Sodré;
- Between 08:44 and 12:04 (inclusive) – there will be a replacement bus service between Cascais and São Pedro do Estoril, and trains will run between São Pedro do Estoril and Cais do Sodré;
- Between 12:24 and 19:34 – trains will run according to the usual timetable between Cascais and Cais do Sodré;
- From 20:04 – there will be a replacement bus service between Cascais and Caxias, and trains will run between Caxias and Cais do Sodré.

From 20 June, there will be changes to the timetable for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Please check the timetable here.
Since 6 April, as modernisation works have progressed, the focus has been on the section between Caxias and Cascais.
During periods of total closure to traffic, a replacement bus service is provided, stopping at Monte Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede, Carcavelos, Oeiras, Santo Amaro and Paço de Arcos
This service operates on weekdays between 9:50 p.m. and 2:35 a.m. the following day, on Saturdays between 8:50 p.m. and 2:35 a.m. the following day, and on Sundays between 5:30 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. and between 7:50 p.m. and 2:35 a.m. the following day.
At all other times, train services will run as usual.
Times
- Journey times on the replacement bus service may vary depending on traffic conditions.
- On the Cascais – Cais do Sodré route, connections to scheduled trains at Oeiras station are not guaranteed, except for the last train of the evening.

Bus stops

- The bus stops can also be checked at Customer Assiatance Offices and CP Ticket Offices.
- You must have a valid ticket when boarding the replacement buses.
- Validate your ticket at the validators located at the entrances to the replacement buses. Validation of all passes, season tickets and tickets is mandatory.
Buses operated by CP will be clearly marked and equipped with access ramps for passengers with reduced mobility.
Bicycles and scooters are not permitted on board. Small pets are permitted provided they are transported in a suitable carrier that can be carried as hand luggage.
Group tickets are not accepted on the replacement bus service.
