Cascais Line - Replacement bus service
See all the information on the changes resulting from the on-going works.
Since May 12, the route between Cascais and Oeiras has been operated by a replacement bus service, with stops at Monte Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos stations.
A valid ticket must be presented when boarding the replacement buses.
Validate your ticket at the ticket validators located at the entrances to the replacement buses. All passes, season tickets, and tickets must be validated.
The journey times for the replacement bus service may vary depending on traffic conditions.
CP buses are identified and equipped with access ramps for people with reduced mobility.
The replacement bus service cannot carry wheelchairs, bicycles or scooters. Small pets can be taken if the animal is in an appropriate container that can be carried as hand luggage.
A replacement bus service covers the route between Cascais and Oeiras, with stops at Monte Estoril, Estoril, S. João do Estoril, S. Pedro do Estoril, Parede and Carcavelos stations.
On the Cascais – Cais do Sodré route, there is no guaranteed connection to scheduled trains at Oeiras station, except for the last train of the night.

The modernization works on the Cascais Line will be suspended on 12 December (Friday), as well as the associated replacement bus service. All scheduled trains will operate as planned.
The works will resume from 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, 13 December.
