At the foot of the beautiful, grandiose Serra da Gardunha, Fundão has the ideal conditions for cherry growing, and we take you by train to visit the cherry orchards in fruit.

CP Services: Intercidades
- Reception by a guide from Fundão town hall on arrival at Castelo Branco Station
- Welcome coffee: composed of coffee, tea, water and traditional cakes, in the station bar
- Departure by bus with a guide towards Soalheira to visit the Traditional Cheese Factory Quinta do Pomar with cheese tasting;
- Continuation by bus along the EN or A23, with a panoramic view of the Gardunha and Cova da Beira mountains;
- Arrival in Fundão for lunch at Dom Vicente restaurant:
Menu: starters (bread, butter, olives), soup cream of vegetables, Lombo Assado à moda do Chef (baked pork loin with baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables), dessert (cherries/fruit or jam), drinks (water, orange juice, white and red regional wine) and coffee. - Trip by coach to visit the Cherry Orchard at Quinta do Pombal in Aldeia Nova do Cabo, with tasting and offer of 1 kg of cherries and the possibility of buying cherries;
- Return by bus to Fundão with free time until boarding.
