| The Eurail Pass is an international season ticket aimed at people who live outside Europe the Russian Federation or Turkey. The range of tickets includes the Eurail Global Pass, the Eurail Select Pass, the Eurail Regional Pass and the Eurail National Pass. Eurail Global Pass Allows you to travel on networks in 21 European countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Norway, Chec Republic, Romenia, Sweden Switzerland and on the sea crossings between Finland and Sweden and between Greece and Italy. The ticket can be purchased for: 1) 15 days, 21 days, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months consecutively; 2) 10 and15 days in a 2 month period. There are various different kinds of ticket available: -

Eurail Global Pass Saver Adult: for groups of 2 to 5 people; -
Eurail Global Pass Youth: for 2nd class travel for people under 26 years old. Children under 4 travel for free so long as they do not occupy a seat. Children under 12 pay half price. Eurail Select Pass This ticket is valid in three, four or five countries from the Eurail Pass list plus Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro so long as the counties have a common border. The following groups of countries count as just one country: Eurail Regional Pass This ticket is valid for two countries. E.G.: Eurail Portugal - Spain Pass The ticket can be purchased for: 1) 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or10 days in a 2-month period. It is available in the following formats: Children under 4 travel for free so long as they do not occupy a seat. Children under 12 pay half price. This ticket is only sold outside Europe. Eurail National Pass This ticket is only valid for one country. E.G.: Eurail Portugal Pass. Only the Eurail Portugal Pass can be bought in Portugal. This ticket can be bought for: 1) 3, 4 or6 days in a one-month period. The ticket is available in the following formats: Children under 4 travel for free so long as they do not occupy a seat. The ticket lets you travel on the Portuguese Railway trains but you will have to pay a seat reservation fee on trains that require you to book a seat: 1) Alfa Pendular (AP); 2) Intercidades (IC); 3) Sud Expresso and 4) Lusitânia Comboio Hotel.
