The Museum is in the station on the Aveiro branch line and occupies old buildings that were adapted to house it.
Location: The Macinhata do Vouga museum is in the railway station on the Aveiro branch line.
Edifício: The Macinhata do Vouga museum, in the second station on the Sernada to Aveiro branch line (Vale do Vouga), occupies old premises that were adapted specially.
Exhibition: Visitors can see artefacts from the Nacional and the Vale do Vouga railway companies.

Historical Note:
The Dão line between Santa Comba Dão and Viseu, was built by the Companhia Nacional, and opened on 26 November 1890.
The Sernada - Aveiro branch, was built by the Companhia do Vale do Vouga in 1911. The Vouga and the Dão lines were taken over by CP in 1947 as part of the unification of the railway operations.
